Florent Garaudet

Domaine Florent Garaudet is located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, in the village of Monthelie, between Volnay and Meursault. The Garaudet family has been involved in winemaking for over a century, and Florent continues the family tradition while implementing his own innovative techniques. Florent gained winemaking experience in Pomerol, then took over the cellar and vineyards of his grandfather Georges Garaudet, where he now produces wines faithful to the characteristics of each denomination and each climat. Five generations in Burgundy creating great wines.
Monthelie is a lesser-known but highly respected denomination within the Côte de Beaune. Garaudet is known for his precise, meticulous approach to both viticulture and winemaking. In the vineyard he uses sustainable practices, emphasising the maintenance of soil health and vine balance. In the cellar Garaudet practises minimal intervention: careful use of oak, very old vines and exclusively indigenous yeasts result in exciting, pure wines.
