I Greppi

I Greppi is located in the Bolgheri DOC, a small but extraordinary wine area near the Tuscan coast, just 70 kilometres south of Pisa. Enclosed among the hills, the landscape forms a natural amphitheatre that favours a characteristic coastal Mediterranean climate.
This unique terroir offers ideal conditions for growing excellent grapes, in particular the international varieties that defined the famous “Super Tuscan” style of Bolgheri red wines.
Founded in 2001, the Tenuta I Greppi was born from a vision aimed at valorising the exceptional winegrowing potential of Bolgheri. The arrival of a new owning family in 2017 marked a turning point, transforming I Greppi's silent potential into a renewed vision for the future.
Being one of the most historic vineyards in the area, the estate occupies a prominent position in the viticultural heritage of Bolgheri, a legacy we are honoured to safeguard and valorise.
Since then, the property has expanded to 40 hectares, 28 of them under vine.
