Fattoria Bonsalto

Fattoria Bonsalto is located in the heart of Tuscany: in Montespertoli, near Florence. Here the vine is at home, tied to the culture of the place and of the people who inhabit it. We have 22 hectares of vineyard in which ancient Tuscan grape varieties are grown, in the conviction that they are the key to best representing the history and these places; besides Sangiovese, there are several other traditional grapes, in some cases rather rare and in others practically unknown. Among these, Colorino, Canaiolo, the splendid Malvasia Nera and the curious Boggione. We are investing a lot in this grape, starting with a research project and field work aimed at its valorisation. The white grapes too are exclusively native: Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano. We like authentic, genuine wines that are able to tell of the lands in which we live, without superstructures.
