Adriano Marco e Vittorio
Visita il sitoWe are a family, we are people, we are experience, we are our wine.
For over 25 years we have produced the wine we dreamed of, wanted and created for ourselves and for those who love wine and its territory.
We are commitment and respect, to ensure that the promotion of the fruit of our work always passes only through pleasure and the indissoluble bond with the territory.
We are the Adriano family: a classic example of a family-run farm, a true tradition in Piedmont. We grow and vinify only grapes of our own, with the aim of producing wines that best interpret the “terroir”: fully in the FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers) philosophy.
Originally from the Alta Langa, we have been sharecropping farmers since 1900.
In 1968 grandfather Aldo broke the sharecropping bond and became, for the first time, a landowner, while still always choosing peasant work.
The choice to believe in agriculture, in difficult times when the majority chose the city, was courageous and full of sacrifices, but it later repaid us with success and satisfaction.
Our family thus arrived in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, where we are still located today, just 5 km from the centre of Alba.
In 1994 the current story begins, with Vittorio and Marco, with their respective wives Grazia and Luciana. We thus began to develop the company and to bottle our first bottles under the label “Adriano Marco e Vittorio”.
From 2015 the third generation also began to join, with Michela, daughter of Vittorio and Grazia.
The company currently has an area of 50 hectares: 30 hectares are dedicated to the vineyard, where we have in production Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscato Bianco. The vineyards are almost all in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, with the exception of a 7-hectare vineyard in Neive in the Basarin cru, the only outsider.
The remaining 20 hectares are lush woods, which we safeguard as an element of biodiversity and microclimatic strength, and hazelnut groves, also unweeded, which give us the delicious Tonda e Gentile delle Langhe hazelnut.
Being green is our commitment, to respect first of all our home, ourselves and you. In the vineyard we are certified with “The Green Experience”: we no longer use chemical weeding, following an integrated pest management programme, working with absolute respect for our beloved land to obtain a healthy, quality product.
We have also invested in the production of eco-sustainable energy with a photovoltaic system that produces the electricity needed for our production cycle, and an innovative phytodepuration system that cleans the winery's wastewater.
We have always loved to share our philosophy of life and work: we like to do so through events, visits and tastings to promote the fruit of our work.
It is our best way to convey who we are, to introduce you to our wines and to make you become part of our family.
Our tasting and sharing proposals are a journey to discover our territory, the cellar where we work and our wines.
