Ca' di Rajo
Visita il sitoIn 2005 the Ca' di Rajo winery was born, on the foundations laid by the Cecchetto family, who had been producing grapes since 1931, first with grandfather Marino and then with father Bortolo. The estate is now led by the third generation of the Cecchetto family, with brothers Simone, Alessio and Fabio. In January 2024 Ca' di Rajo Group Srl was formed, bringing together all the family's brands to offer Italian and international customers an increasingly market-oriented range and a tailor-made service that can respond effectively to our clients' needs. The flagship of Ca' di Rajo's production is Raboso Piave, a thoroughbred that is hard to tame, a unique wine and one of the most typical of the Piave DOC which, since 2012, has been distinguished by the new Malanotte del Piave DOCG. Raboso Piave is an almost extreme wine, and perhaps for this reason set aside, because its strong and fierce nature can be intimidating. Another native variety is Manzoni Bianco 6.0.13, which finds in the Piave basin a terrain well suited to its development, just as the man who created it intended: Prof. Luigi Manzoni, a researcher and luminary for over 60 years at the Conegliano School of Oenology. The fertile soils of the Ca' di Rajo estate also produce Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
