Castello di Fonterutoli

For over six centuries the Mazzei family has devoted itself to viticulture with passion and commitment handed down from generation to generation. The family's main estate since 1435 has been Castello di Fonterutoli, in the south of Chianti Classico. The result of the careful work carried out in the vineyard is vinified and aged separately for each of the 114 parcels. Centuries-old knowledge of this land, combined with forty years of research, has made it possible to select 36 types of Sangiovese, some exclusive to Castello di Fonterutoli, making the estate a truly unique producer within Chianti Classico.
