Castello di Gabbiano

Castello di Gabbiano is located at the heart of Chianti Classico and counts a total of 165 hectares under vine, mainly in the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, home to both the vinification and ageing cellars. Some hectares also extend into the San Donato in Poggio area, further enriching the variety and complexity of the terroir. Sangiovese is the beating heart of the vineyards, accounting for around 85% of the vineyard surface.
