Col d'Orcia
Visita il sitoCol d'Orcia is a historic organic winery in Montalcino, renowned for its production of Brunello di Montalcino and owned by the Marone Cinzano family since 1973. The estate extends over 540 hectares, from the Orcia river to the village of Sant'Angelo in Colle, with 150 hectares under vine dedicated to Brunello di Montalcino. Long committed to organic farming, with a philosophy based on respect for the land and the expression of its exceptional terroir, the company obtained organic certification for the entire estate in 2013, and since 2023 it has been the only winery in Tuscany to have earned two important recognitions: Equalitas Certification — a standard addressing sustainability in the wine sector across three pillars: social, environmental and economic — and the Slow Wine Snail, the symbol awarded to wineries that share the Slow Food philosophy, operating consciously and responsibly towards the environment and the territory.
