Principe Corsini
Visita il sitoVilla Le Corti is the historic estate owned by the Corsini family, located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the heart of Chianti Classico. The family's bond with these lands dates back to 1363, when it acquired the estate together with the ancient olive mill, beginning the cultivation of vineyards and olive groves in a territory always naturally suited to the vine and the olive.
San Casciano in Val di Pesa is the northernmost municipality of the Chianti Classico denomination. The property extends over 50 hectares under vine, planted predominantly with Sangiovese, alongside minor varieties such as Colorino and Merlot. The vineyards lie at an altitude between 250 and 320 m above sea level, on calcareous-clayey soils rich in rounded pebbles of fluvial origin, ideal for conferring structure and elegance on the wines.
Since 1992 the estate has been led by Duccio Corsini, who introduced organic and biodynamic farming practices, with a deep attention to respect for nature and the valorisation of the territory's identity.
Thanks to the commitment of Duccio Corsini and his wife Clotilde, Villa Le Corti is today also a benchmark for wine tourism in Chianti Classico. Every year thousands of visitors from all over the world come to the estate to visit the historic cellars and taste the wines. At the Osteria di Villa Le Corti, moreover, it is possible to savour the dishes of Tuscan tradition, surrounded by the evocative panorama of the vineyards and olive groves.
