Sunday 21 and Monday 22 September at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence: 230 Italian and international wine companies.
Despite the intensely summery weather on Sunday and the difficulties of Monday, marked by strikes and heavy rain, the event recorded truly surprising numbers.
Over 2,500 attendees: around 500 wine lovers, 100 sommeliers, 50 journalists and as many as 1,850 industry professionals over the 2 days, with more than 2,500 bottles opened!
The organisers – Betawine, Tagliafraschi e Associati, Vintage 04, Doppia G Selezione and Andrea Vannini Rappresentanze – thank the companies that were the true protagonists of the event.
And they thank those who believed in it: the City of Florence, Firenze Fiera, the Metropolitan City, Vetrina Toscana, the Chamber of Commerce, Confesercenti, Confcommercio, the Associazione Città del Vino, and all the Partners.
“I would like to congratulate the organisers who, with commitment, passion and professionalism, managed to create an event of great quality, capable of showcasing the wine excellences of Tuscany and of many other Italian regions. I hope this is only the first of many successful editions that we will host within the Fortezza da Basso,” said Lorenzo Becattini, president of Firenze Fiera.
Next edition already announced: it will take place on 20 and 21 September 2026, again at the Fortezza da Basso.
