Colognole
Visita il sitoChianti Rufina is the smallest and oldest sub-zone of Chianti Docg. On these hills, at an altitude ranging from 250 to 500 m, lie the vineyards of the Agricola Colognole estate, owned by the Spalletti family since 1892. The 27 hectares of vineyard are planted on predominantly clayey soils rich in galestro. The Chianti Rufina produced at Colognole distinctly expresses the characteristics of Sangiovese grown at high altitudes: great finesse and elegance in the aromas, combined with marked longevity.
