Caccia al Piano

In the early 2000s, Franco Ziliani decided to bet on the territory of Bolgheri. The spark, which culminated in the purchase of the Tenuta Caccia al Piano, ignited after visiting the San Biagio vineyard, at 200 m above sea level on the Bolgheri hills. The desire to understand the territory, respecting what had already been done by the great protagonists, guided Ziliani's work, today carried on by his children Cristina, Arturo and Paolo. The estate was born from the restoration of an ancient hunting fief owned by the noble Della Gherardesca family, today home of the winery.
